Hi everyone. Dont have good pictures this time but next time there will be lots of pictures. The weather is getting hotter every day. The weathermen are talking about how the heat is here earlier this year! Isn't that lovely! Today we had a temperature of 96 with the humidity above 50% which makes it feel like it is a 108 degrees outside. You sweat so much you feel like your in a sauna. Oh but it is good if you are use to a cold state. Well one good thing it is helping me lose a few pounds. Yea!
Any way we have 3 teams this week. One from Illinois, Kentucky, and New Jersey. Kudos to the teams that are sweating it out to help others. One team got a church in the lower ninth ward completely done and the pastor will be able to have services. Another Yea! I really want to say thank you to all the teams that come here to help. They are very loving, kind and really make a difference to the people who are trying to get back into there houses. This work could not be done without them. They have given so much of there time and effort and we are very proud of them. Great are their reward from God.
To Everyone that reads this blog I do hope you take the time and ask God what you could do to help this effort of rebuilding. If you have time to take from home or work please think of us and come on down! We would love to you here. I cook delicious food and we have lodging for you also.
